Oda stays ‘hard-edged’

Bev Oda, the federal women’s issues minister, left a meeting with B.C. women’s groups yesterday apparently firmly supporting the program cuts that have outraged them.

Oda, also Canada’s Heritage minister, walked without pause to an elevator chased by reporters eager to ask how the two-hour meeting at the Wall Centre had gone.
