Francoise David is incensed that Action democratique du Quebec leader Mario Dumont thinks the commitments of her Quebec solidaire party would cost $6 billion.
A better informed person would know, the QS spokesperson told The Gazette in an interview yesterday, that they total $6.24 billion.
And the leader of the year-old leftist, sovereignist, feminist and ecologist party makes no apology for that.
"(Liberal leader Jean) Charest has made $4.5 billion worth of pledges so far without saying where he'll get the money. Mr. Dumont is proposing measures to help families that will cost between $800 million and $900 million, and he ... will take that money from welfare recipients
